Besheno primary hospital is one of the governmental hospitals located in central Ethiopia Region State, Halaba zone, weradijo woreda. It is established in April 2007 E.C by the expansion of the existing health center. The hospital is located 285 km from Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia; 78 km from Hosanna, the capital of the Central Ethiopia Regional State; and 31 km from Halaba Kulito town.
Besheno primary hospital is serving a catchment population of over 120,000 people, the hospital functions as a central hub for a network of four health centers, 10 basic health posts and one comprehensive health post.
Since 2015 E.C., Besheno Primary Hospital has implemented a paper-free healthcare service through progressive digitalization and automation of its clinical and administrative systems. This transformation has improved service efficiency, reduced documentation errors, enhanced patient data management, and ensured faster, more reliable care delivery. By integrating electronic medical records and automated workflows, the hospital continues to strengthen quality of care, transparency, and patient satisfaction.
